TABERNACLE: A tent-like place for worship. TAX COLLECTOR: A person who collects taxes. TEMPLE: A building set apart for the worship of a god. TEMPT: To test or try. Not always involving an evil purpose. To persuade or try to persuade to do wrong by promise of pleasure or gain. THADDEUS: He was one of the twelve apostles. Little else is known about him. (Matthew 10:3 and Mark 3:18) THENCE: From that place. From there. THITHER: To that place. Toward there. THOMAS: Or Didymus, is a name that means "twin". He was one of Jesus' twelve apostles. His courage and love for Jesus are shown in John 11:16. Sometimes people call him doubting Thomas. The other apostles told him Jesus had been raised from death. But Thomas did not believe it until he saw Jesus himself. TILLER: A farmer. One who works the ground for growing plants. TREASURE: Something that is valuable. Wealth and riches. What you value. TROUGH: A narrow box-like container for water or food for animals.
