PASSOVER: A yearly festival in which a lamb is sacrificed in memory of Israel's salvation from the last plague and deliverance from the Egyptian slavery.

PERADVENTURE:  Perhaps, maybe.

PESTILENCE:  A disease which spreads fast causing many deaths.

PHARAOH:  A king or ruler of Egypt.

PLAGUE:  A judgment or disaster which God sends upon men.

POTTAGE:  A thick red soup.

PREVAILED:  To win over all else; Was the strongest.

PROSPER:  To have good fortune; To do well.

PROVISION:  A supply of food and water.
