Gabriel speaks to Zechriah

Gabriel also spoke to
Mary
In
the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in
Galilee, to a virgin who had
promised to
be
married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. Her name
was
Mary.
The angel went to Mary and told her that she
was highly favored and that the Lord was with her. It troubled Mary
at his words. But the
angel told her not to be afraid, for she had found favor with
God. He also told her that she wou give birth to a son, and she
was name Him Jesus.
He would be great and called the Son of the
Most High.
The Lord God would give him the throne of David, He
would reign
over the house of
Jacob
forever and his kingdom would never end.

Mary asked the angel how will this
be since she was a
virgin.
Mary
told the angel that she was the Lord's servant and that it may be as
the angel said. Then the angel left her.

Mary
returned home after
spending three months with Elizabeth
Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three
months and then went back
home.
When
it was time to circumcise the child, and they were
going to name the baby Zechariah, but Elizabeth
spoke up and said he was to be called John.
They made signs to Zechariah, to find out what he
would like to
name the child. He asked for a
writing tablet. He wrote His name is John. Everyone was
astonished and immediately Zechariah opened his mouth and his tongue
was loosed,
and he
began to speak, praising
God.
